20 Awesome Truths About Life No One Wants to Think About

Time is your most valuable asset--you need to prioritize how you spend it.

Here are 17 – 20 of the 20 absolute truths that every single person needs to hear, and your life will improve as you embrace them.

17. You need to improve your relationships to have lasting happiness.

Relationships have a greater impact on your wellbeing and happiness than your income or your occupation, so make sure you give all of your relationships the attention and work it deserves, and especially the relationship with the one you have chosen to spend your life’s journey with.

18. Pleasure is temporary and fleeting, so stop chasing fireworks and start building a constellation.

Don't settle for an ego boost right now when you can delay gratification and experience deeper fulfillment.  Embrace joy, but pursue it in the big picture.

19. Your ambition means nothing without execution--it's time to put in the work.

If you want to change the world, then go out there and do it!  “Follow your bliss, follow your gleam, do what you love, do what you dream.”  Put one foot in front on the other.

20. Time is your most valuable asset--you need to prioritize how you spend it.

You have the power and responsibility to decide what you do with the time you have, so choose wisely.  You never know how much you have in the “time bank”.  Wasting time is the biggest waste of all.  Use every second to the maximum!

Immortality is achieved by the legacy we each leave behind.  It has been said that everyone has two deaths, the physical one, and the last time someone thinks of you and your life’s contributions.  Spend your time wisely so that those you love will celebrate you through the generations, and make the world a better place, so that even those who did not know you will honor your contribution to the Earth and the human race for decades or even centuries to come.
