John McE. Miller is Rock Solid Law’s founding attorney. He chose Jacksonville, Florida in the mid-eighties due to its location on the ocean and its then population of about three-quarters of a million people. It was just the size city that John felt he could grow with and make an impact upon. Practicing in downtown Jacksonville for the first six years, John learned his craft under some of Jacksonville’s finest attorneys.
In 1991, John moved his practice to the Beach. His first office was in Ponte Vedra, and he enjoyed the freedom that solo practice granted him to serve smaller clients in ways that positively impacted their businesses and lives. During this time, John served as President of the Jacksonville Beaches Bar association. In 1998, John moved his office into Duval County and continued to practice under his name for the next 20 years. In 2012, John founded Rock Solid Business Law to further focus attention on the needs of Jacksonville’s business community.
John enjoys being involved in various professional and civic organizations and was a two-term president of the Beaches Business Association. Other organizations John enjoys being active in include: the North East Florida Association of Realtors, The Small Business Resource Network, Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Beaches Division, Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals, and the Jacksonville Bar Association.
John lives at the beach with his wife Krista and their two beautiful young children.
